What flowers should I plant?
Not all flowers are created equal. You can find a list of flowers that are preferred in Indiana here. Diversity is really the key. Bees need plants form early spring to late fall. Planting flowers that bloom at different times both keeps your yard looking beautiful but also helps bees always have a source of food!
Ohh… and while many people loath the dreaded dandelion, it is actually one of the earliest signs that spring forage is available for bees. They aren’t all bad!
